Lola Shoneyin and Samuel Tosin Kolawole for iRead this February

After a very successful run in 2012, iRead is back and better!

iRead, is a platform that brings aspiring writers and book lovers together with established voices in an environment where books, writers and the writing process get highlighted.

In pursuance of our thematically structured readings, this edition of iRead is themed: The Literary Affair. What makes relationships tick in the world of creative writing? What helps sustain interest in the relationships between characters? What relationships exist between writers themselves and the characters they create? We’re getting to the bottom of this tricky part of writing that is all so important.

So if you are an aspiring writer and have always wondered about characterisation, and building interesting relationships between characters, mark the 23rd of February on your calendar.

This month we are happy to announce the participation of Lola Shoneyin and Samuel Tosin Kolawole as guest writers to share from their writing and from their experience.
